It is the month of October, the season of ghosts and ghouls. Witches are getting out their brooms and vampires are opening their coffins. Goblins are getting together to make mischief and zombies are rising from the grave… for Halloween is drawing near! It’s one of my favorite times of the year so I’ve decided to hold a Halloween contest! The theme of the contest is simple- Halloweeeeen!
For this contest, you must create at least one character in a Halloween themed image. You may use any character- your own OC, one of my OCs, pairings, whatever your heart desires. You may draw humanoid or animal characters- it really doesn’t matter, as long as they’re in a Halloweenish setting. Maybe your OC is trick-or-treating. Maybe they’re fighting a vampire. Maybe they ARE a vampire, and they’re terrorizing a victim. Maybe they’re doing the Monster Mash! You can go for spooky, cute, scary, funny or sweet- it’s totally up to you!
However, please keep it PG-13 - no explicit or overly gory entries. (Some gore is ok- it is Halloween after all!)
I’ll be accepting drawings, paintings and photo manipulations. You can be as simple or as detailed as you like. Remember to properly credit any resources.
You may enter more than once, but you can only win once. Also, all entries must be made new and especially for this contest. To enter, you may post your entry in the comments on this journal or send me a note.
The contest will close on October 29th. I’ll pick and announce the winners on October 31 - HALLOWEEEN!

What’s a contest without prizes? Just as I wouldn’t let a Halloween go by without treats, I wouldn’t dream of having a contest without some good prizes! Here we go!
